I got played! They told me it was alternator, it wasn’t, he knew that. I went and spent $300 on a new alternator. Bring it back, the older man quoted me “$180 cash only + tax “ just like that. When I come back to pick up my car, he said he had to charge the battery. Confusing because if he just put a new alternator in, all he had to do was jump it and let it charge itself, right? He charged me an additional $16 for charging my battery total $216 I paid it, then he didn’t want to give me a receipt. I asked why and he said, “because you supply the part”. Even more weird. I insisted on a receipt . Well sure enough my car wouldn’t start again shortly after getting home. This time I took it to a referred mechanic, they saw the alternator that was taken out and I was told it was not my alternator it was still very good. It wasn’t my battery for sure because I had just bought it and had it tested before coming to these guys. So yeah played me. Because I’m a female ? idk . Anyways lesson learned ! Not cool!

My truck had died and wouldn't start up, I thought my fuel pump wasn't working. V&G Auto Service Center really came through, doing a full diagnostic, and figured out that my fuse box and ECU were fried due to a short. They immediately ordered the new fuse box from the dealership and had it installed the next day. Unfortunately the dealership didn't make the ECU for my truck anymore, and I had to get it refurbished, but as soon as I got it back to them they installed it and had my truck running! Thank You V&G!!!

I just got gas at this station. Paid cash...the pump shorted me the amount I paid. The cashier wanted me to go back and forth to the pump....I told him give me the difference now instead of having me go back and forth. I'm not one to be go out of my way to leave a bad review but this establishment is questionable.....

Was in the city doing a job when I noticed my work trucks idle was acting up and being weird kept getting low oil pressure every time I came to a complete stop. Stop by a local shop and the mechanic diagnosed my truck charged me for a diagnose which I though was too high for a 5 min check and proceeded to tell me that my truck had major problems and need a lot of parts. I didn’t feel comfortable so I called my local mechanic and he told me to try a few other places.

I pulled up to V&G Auto and the mechanic came up to me and asked me to take the truck around the block. He came back and immediately knew what the problem was. Apparently I was over due on the oil change and the pressure was low. He added oil to prove to me that that was the case. I was so grateful for the honesty and professionalism that I asked him to just change the oil and oil filter. I then called my local mechanic to tell him and he told me that I was treated extremely fairly. What made me mad the most was that I paid less for the oil change and fix then the previous guy who charged me a full hour for diagnose which only took him 5 min. Highly recommended this place and I appreciate the honesty and great service.

I work nearby so this is a convenient place for me to have service done on my older Lexus sedan during the workday. They are very friendly and accommodating and their prices are way better than the Lexus dealer or a "service mill" like Pep Boys. I've seen some reviews that said they were rude - that is definitely not my experience. Maybe the people who thought they were rude were mistaking the owner and his immigrant employees accents for rudeness, or are biased against hardworking immigrants. I can't say other than to relate that my experience has always been excellent and I have been treated warmly.

Hands down the cleanest auto repair shop I've ever stepped foot into. That says a lot about workmanship. These guys are experts with SUV's and won't sell you something you don't need . Vahe is highly respected in the industry as his many 5 star reviews have shown. V & G's crew truly take care of their customers. No up selling and BS. Just straight to the point and beyond honest pricing. My go to spot for all my truck needs from now on! They are conveniently located next near the original In & Out, so you can just walk and get a quick bite and your car will be done. I noticed that almost all their customers are repeat customers and know them by their first name basis. This tells me a lot. They've been there for decades.

I brought in my BMW, and they took care of me. These guys are amazing, to say the least. VERY thorough! I have to mention because everyone else I've gone to only gave me info on what was the immediate problem and nothing else that could potentially lead to another issue. I recommend this place to anyone that appreciates quality.
