Enjoyable evening looking up at the unobstructed sky in a magical setting, deep in Dalby forest. Nicole and Simon are very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about everything to do with the night sky, and their lovely pup, Luna, was the cherry on top. Fascinating, informative and lots of wow moments from everyone. Would highly recommend. The vegan hot chocolate was really good too!

We both found the evening fascinating and informative. Simon and Nicole were excellent hosts and provided everything they said they would and more in this evening of journeying through the sky
They were both knowledgeable but approachable and you could see they were very happy to share their incredible experiences with us all.
Some great tips for beginners on how to navigate the skies, equipment and we also got ro see Andromeda Galaxy and Saturn and its rings! A real wow factor foe us.
Sadly, we had to be up early today so had to rush off and didn't get to visit the gift shop, which looked to have excellent memorabilia and copies of their night sky astral photographs which blow your mind. Thanks for a great evening, well worth the money and we highly recommend.

We spent an amazing evening enjoying the night sky with Astro Dog. Nicole and Simon are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. They spend the evening sharing their love of astronomy and also helping you understand what equipment you might get to continue exploring on your own. And what with an amazing price for the evening it is highly recommended.

Fantastic event and very knowledgeable and friendly guides. Had a fantastic event and despite cloud covering trying to stop our fun we still managed to view Saturn with its rings, Jupiter with its moons and the Andromeda galaxy. Absolutely fascinating and incredible. The cherry on top was definitely Luna (aka Astrodog ?‍?)

Went last night 26/10/24. A weekend with my daughter after the passing of my mum last month. Just amazing the whole thing was informative and well executed. The whole team were fantastic and got a soft spot for Luna the dog. Keep up the fantastic work guy's will be back.

Went for an evening session - the team were very knowledgeable and their enthusiasm was infectious. Amazing to see so many things for real that are normally just on TV. Try to go when cloud cover is light, and the moon is not in the way. Definitely worth the late night!

Nicole and Simon are wonderful. We visited for an astronomy evening, and it was a brilliant way to spend the night. Even though there was cloud cover, the evening was educational and informative and well worth the journey over. They have a wealth of knowledge but are able to make it understandable for someone that doesn't know anything. We would definitely visit again and trust their telescope buying advice. Also, Luna - their dog. She's the best Astrodog.

Attended Saturday 18th 10:45pm session. It was absolutly brilliant, I thoroughly enjoyed the session (although my neck isn't this morning haha!).

Getting there: We know Dalby well as local, but in the dark give yourself more time as it threw our bearings off and were a minitue or two late (ops!)

Clothing: Warm evening but it did get cold around 1am so even a summer evening it does drop

We were greeted by Luna the Astro Dog which was a lovely suprise as we are both dog people. Following a quick hot chocolate and watching an interesting presentation being projected we began.

Starting with a navigation of the night sky and how to read it with a super strong lazer meant I could easily follow what was being described. It was so interesting to me as I had a very basic knowledge and their knowledge is just unbelievable! I loved being taught how to always find Polaros to help ke further navigate any other time. Be prepared to kink your neck back alot but really not a problem! Fascinating.

We then began using the multiple telescopes! Wide range of strengths meant we got different perspectives meaning it was more engaging than just 'looking at a star'. The depth of detail was amazing, excellent quality kit and meant we could move between allowing optimum viewing.

It was a small group of 6 which I don't know how many can be booked on but was a perfect number for me. Allowed us to chit chat and have a bit of banter adding to the experience.

After multiple star gazing we began on the moon. The moon sounds simple, but is fascinating and the detail we got to see was unique. Really fun being helped to photograph too!

Lastly we watched how to use Stellarium which is a free stargazing/planet app and was super helpful. And then got to see some of the expert photography of the Aurora and some planets!!

Opportunity to ask alot of questions (I did) and they were always answered, in depth. My friend has attended before when it was a previous company and agreed this was a far superior event.

Gift shop was lovely, I'm always happy to support a small local business, so treated myself to a new Jigsaw of the Moon which I think was reasonably priced!

If I was to suggest anything (and that's a push) I enjoy being tested; guessing answers/finding things - so incorporating more 'do you know' or 'can you find and show me' would add another depth but honestly that's more just me.

Overall, I recomend this event thoroughly. Absolute value for money, the most knowledgeable and engaging hosts, extremely professional set up and I came away with so much new knowledge. We will come back!
