I have been seeing Dr Goldberg for many years. I am Canadian. The visit is just to check my wife and my eye pressure since we are down for many months and my wife has eye problems. Once the visit became an emergency. I had a detached retina that required immediate action. He took me right away and stressed that I had to see a specialist. My wife and I booked the next flight back to Montreal and the operation was set for the next morning. Dr Goldberg didn't know what I did or where we were. He called the next morning on my cell while we were in the Hospital and repeated again how urgent this was. It was so much appreciated that he didn't forget about me and was concerned for my well being. He was also surprised how fast things were arranged in Quebec. When we are back in Florida we will only see him because we know how caring he is.

Dr. Goldberg and his staff were all very pleasant and nice! They were on time, and the check in process was easy and I could it the day before from home. You can tell Dr. Goldberg really cares about his patients and he explained everything to me in detail. I would recommend this office to anyone who has eye concerns.

Excellent, my wife had a sudden, painful eye issue, she was seen the morning she called. Staff and doctor were attentive and professional; very pleased.

I try to stay away from writing reviews that are negative but I am beyond upset at these people. I went in to get a my eyes checked and get a new prescription. I was attended to well but the front desk person was a bit green so I just stayed calm. Then upon check out they withheld the prescription to speak w/their glasses person. Once I asked if he was out of network he said yes and provided the prescription. (Strike 1) 2 weeks later I got an eye infection, I called asking for an appointment and never got called back. (strike 2) Then I received my prescription glasses which have a wrong and inefective prescription. The maker even did the prescription 2 times to see if they can help. I left 2 messages to address the issue that I cannot see through my new prescription and have yet to receive a call back. (strike 3). Overall a disaster of an experience.

Dr. Goldberg is very professional and his services are reasonably priced. They did a full vision check up and eye exam for only $100. That's cheaper than what many optometrists charge. He also gave me a free prescription for my dry eyes along with free samples. Highly recommended.

I have to rate my experience base on customer service not my doctor, I visited this office 2 months ago, just to get a prescription and to get new glasses, however I pay the difference what ever my insurance will not cover. I was told by one of the staff if I do get a bill please bring it in or call we will take care of it, however I did receive a bill and called it in and was told that I have to pay for extra services. I do not have a problem paying the bill but everytime I called customer service keep telling me that they will get back to me this went on for 1 1\2 month.
I went ahead and pay my bill, because it does not worth the frustration.This is why
I am upset. One phone call from that office will make me feel like they were trying to help, but no one made an effort.

I met Mark Goldberg several years ago on an emergency basis when I had a retinal tear during a weekend. He was the doctor on call at Holy Cross Hospital. He was kind enough to meet me on a Sunday at his office. In fact, I was so appreciative I wrote him a letter of thanks. On my next visit to his office for a normal eye exam, he was cold, curt and even rude. I asked if he had gotten my letter. He didn't remember it. When I ask him some question while he was examining me, he responded "if you would stop talking I could concentrate". Naturally, I was shocked and quite turned off. I responded coldly for the balance of my visit, and I never darkened his door again. I was only 58, and I was treated in the same way I saw him treating 65 plus individuals. The office was a factory, and I was appalled by his bedside manner. Avoid this physcian

Fabulous care, both from Dr Goldberg and his associate Dr Klein and the staff.
Vocational Rehab is taking care of cataracts. It took a lot of work from the staff to get my treatment authorized. I am grateful for their care.
